Bar Shampoo

I bought this for my boyfriend who has a very dry scalp. I haven't seen a huge improvement so far, but we haven't had it that long. I do enjoy that it is plastic free.

I purchased this as an attempt to reduce plastic waste. I was honestly expecting them to not be very effective given previous literature/reviews I’d read on bar shampoo and the fact that I am on hard well water. However, I read an article from a woman in the UK who recommended this brand among others for hard water given that it is surfactant and not soap based. I used this in conjunction with the enlivening orange conditioner bar (I have VERY frizzy/curly hair). The instant I got out of the shower, my hair felt clean and soft. It was amazing, and honestly a feeling I don’t think I’ve ever had. I was completely in shock, it felt so good! The bars are kind of potent coming out of the box (not a bad smell though), but there really isn’t much of a noticeable scent when you use it (which I prefer). Two washes in and I’m super excited about this product! It will be interesting to see going forward if I will still need to use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while (recommended for people on well water to remove buildup).

Perfect!

Washed my hair very effectively and didn't have to use much, and that's saying something because I have very thick, long hair. Low waste by coming in a recyclable box and takes up less space than the shampoos I was using in big plastic bottles. Will buy again. I am over the moon to have more room in the bathroom cupboard too since the small box(es) takes up way less space than big plastic bottles.

Best shampoo bar I've tried

I've tried a few different shampoo bars and this one is by far the best. No more struggling to get a good lather, this Nourishing bar lathers up quickly and easily leaving your hair fresh and clean!

lathers really well and did not come wrapped in plastic. Smells nice, and doesnt leave my hair feeling dry. I also use a conditioning bar.
