Refund policy

We want you to love your zero-waste swaps. If something isn't right, here's how returns and refunds work.

Return window
You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. After 30 days we're unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Condition
Items must be unused and in the same condition you received them, in their original packaging. Proof of purchase (your order number or receipt) is required.

Items we can't accept
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of intimate or sanitary goods and personal-use products such as water bottles, soaps, hairbrushes, and deodorant. We also can't accept gift cards or downloadable products. Partial refunds may be offered for items returned with obvious signs of use, items not in their original condition, or items returned after the 30-day window.

How to start a return
Email admin@zerowasteoutlet.com with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return, and we'll send instructions. Please don't send items back to the manufacturer.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm receipt and let you know whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of inspection. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 5–10 business days to post the credit. 

Sale items
Sale items may be returned as long as they're unused and meet the return conditions above. 

Exchanges
We replace items only if they're defective or damaged. Email admin@zerowasteoutlet.com and we'll help.

Return shipping
You're responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from it. For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable service or purchasing shipping insurance — we can't guarantee receipt of returned items.

Gifts
If your order was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit once we receive the return. If it wasn't marked as a gift, the refund goes to the original purchaser.

Damaged or lost parcels
If your order arrives damaged, contact us at admin@zerowasteoutlet.com right away with photos and we'll make it right. For parcels lost in transit, we'll process a refund or replacement once USPS completes its investigation.
