From the package: Place one or two rounds in the shower, in the direct flow of water. The heated water will activate it and release the essential oils into the shower steam. Each round lasts several minutes before fully dissolving.
Want it to last longer? Move the tablet to the edge of the shower floor, away from direct water flow. The trade-off is a milder aroma — the package's direct-flow placement is what releases the full essential-oil burst.
Vegan ingredients (per package): sodium salts (proprietary blend, patent pending), natural clays, stearic acid (plant-based), eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, menthol, eucalyptol.
What these are: The sodium-salt blend is the fizzing base (a buffered version of the same chemistry as a bath bomb). Natural clays bind the tablet so it holds its shape. Stearic acid is a plant-derived binder and slow-release agent. Eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, menthol, and eucalyptol are the scent-active ingredients — what you smell as the steam rises.
Sensitivity notes:
- Menthol + peppermint + eucalyptol are concentrated aromatic compounds. People with sensitivities to these scents (or to topical menthol) should test a single tablet with the bathroom door open before regular use.
- Not recommended for use around small children, pets, or anyone with respiratory sensitivities to strong essential-oil aromas.

From No Tox Life, an honest note: because they don't use plastic shrink wrap, some tablets may break in transit. Broken pieces are still fully usable — they are not refunded or replaced.
Keep the jar sealed when not in use. Opening and closing the bulk container frequently can let the volatile mint and eucalyptus oils escape, weakening the scent over time.
If stored where humidity or temperature fluctuates, the tablets can develop small feathery crystals on the surface — this is the mint and essential oils re-forming as they migrate to the surface. It's normal and safe to use.
Per the package: For shower only — do not use in the bath. Keep out of eyes; if it gets in eyes, flush with clean water for 10 minutes or longer. Do not place on skin while wet or activated. Use caution with product on a wet shower floor (it can be slippery). Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Consult your physician before using if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Tablets: use to the end — broken pieces still fizz and scent.
- Glass jar: reuse as a spice jar, bulk-food storage, candle vessel, or small terrarium. Or recycle through your local glass stream.
- Metal lid: recycle with metal.
- Paper shipping wrap: recycle with paper or compost.
