There is no retail packaging beyond what is needed to ship it safely. Your order may include paper to protect the contents.
- Solid pear wood is biodegradable.
- When it is finally worn out, break it into smaller pieces and add it to your home compost or green waste bin where local guidelines allow, or toss it onto a yard-waste pile to break down over time.
- As a last resort it can go in the trash. Unlike a plastic comb, it will eventually decompose instead of lingering for centuries.

This comb is very sturdy and lightweight and just the right size. It fits perfect in my travel case. The price is reasonable and it does not pull on my curly hair. It also works as well as the brush.

It goes with me everywhere.
I have hair just above the shoulders and this comb doesn't do much. Might work better on shorter hair, but not mine. If you made a larger one I'd give it a try.

I like it, wish the teeth had a bit more "bite' to them - I have fine hair and the comb seems to ride above it rather than actually comb through it.

This Pear Wood Pocket Comb works great in my travel kit because of its size. I like the wide-teeth for tackling tangles and the narrow-teeth for smoothing my fine hair when it’s pulled back. The teeth on my previous (bamboo) comb loosened after being crammed against various toiletries and it was hard to find a replacement that had both widths in one. The compact size of this comb works fine and should allow it to hold up better than my previous comb. Some of the cutouts between the teeth were rough but didn’t pull at my hair. I could weave some fine-grit sandpaper through to fix that, though and would still buy it again.

I really like this comb, and definitely recommend! Agree with the rest of the reviews that say it is the perfect size. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I do wish that the tines on the thicker side were a little sharper. I like the feeling of a comb scratching across my scalp, but that's just me. The tines on the thinner side feel nice.

this comb does everything my old plastic comb did and more. Love the wide side tame my hair out of the shower, and the fine side for my beard. The nicest part is when I comb my wet hair there is a faint smell of sandalwood. it's nice to elevate the simple things in life and this comb is a good way to make your morning a little nicer.

But I would absolutely love it if it were bigger! Maybe with a handle? I can only hope you'll be offering one by the time I need to replace my plastic (ugh) everyday comb. I know I could probably find one elsewhere, but I like shopping at ZeroWaste :)
