What these are: The first three are saponified plant butters and oils — the soap base. Natural Glycerin is a humectant that draws moisture to the skin (a byproduct of the saponification, here also derived from the same plant butters). Colloidal Oatmeal is finely milled oat that soothes irritated skin and is a common cosmetic skin-comfort ingredient. Sodium Citrate is a pH balancer. Activated Coconut Charcoal is the dark adsorbent that gives the bar its color and its surface-cleansing function.
Sensitivity note: Colloidal Oatmeal is generally gentle but people with confirmed oat (avenin/gluten) allergies should patch test before face-wide use. The activated charcoal is mineral-stable and does not stain skin or sinks, though dark grey lather is expected.
