The Tangie Fixtone Purple Pigment Conditioner Bar deposits a gentle violet pigment that neutralizes yellow and brassy tones on blonde, gray, and silver hair, while plant oils add slip, moisture, and shine. One bar lasts three or more months and is plastic-free from box to bar.

- After shampooing, fully wet your hair and the bar.
- Glide the bar over your hair from mid-length to ends (a quick pass near the roots only if they get oily).
- Leave on for 30 seconds up to a few minutes — start short, especially on very light, platinum, or white hair, to avoid over-toning.
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Use only 1 to 2 times a week, or as needed to control brassiness. Avoid overuse to prevent a purple tint.
- Allow the bar to dry between uses to extend its life.
Because this bar deposits a violet pigment, rinse your hands after use and avoid resting the wet bar on very light surfaces — the pigment can lightly stain.

A note on the color: this is one of the few Tangie bars that uses cosmetic colorants (D&C Violet #2 and Gentian Violet). They deposit the violet pigment that neutralizes brass; most other Tangie bars are dye-free.
A note on gluten: this bar contains wheat germ oil. Topical wheat germ oil is generally well tolerated, but if you have a known wheat allergy you may wish to check with your doctor before use.
