Eco Bamboo-Charcoal Floss

I like this product a lot. It's small, contains a decent amount of floss thread, and feels gentle on my teeth. I only needed to try it a few times to be ready to write my review. There isn't much to write, here. I always disliked flossing my teeth, especially with those stupid plastic flossers with just a tiny amount of thread in them. Because the glass container, I am able to see how much thread is left, as apposed to a standard plastic container, with no transparency. The only improvement I suggest being made is with the cap. I find that it's tricky to place the thread underneath the small flap of metal to cut it. It's the only part of this product I wasn't as impressed with. Everything else makes it worth the buy!

I’m loving this new floss. I was so tired of the floss that is available everywhere. It gets cheaper every year. Since my teeth are snug, I would you 2 or 3 pieces to get the job done. So nice not throwing away all that plastic. And it comes in a cool little container for refill.

I’ve tried lots of floss - and though I miss my cocofloss, once I read that 3 million miles of floss are disposed of each year in the landfill, I knew I had to make the switch. This floss works better than silk for me. It doesn’t break between my closely spaced teeth. I opted for the bamboo holder (thought the metal might rust and the glass might break) and I could be happier. The cutter makes a pretty short strand, but I have found that if you hold a loop in the floss be for you cut it, it’s very easy to grab again.

I LOVE this floss! Works great for my tightly spaced teeth, doesn't fray and is effective in getting all the little bits out. Container is nice size, will be great for travel. I thought the cost of this product and the refills is very fair and I plan on getting everyone in my family using this product. A win all around!

The bamboo floss is wonderful. I have tight teeth, and it easily slips between my tight teeth, and doesn’t break or fray, although I do floss gently to preserve my gums. The black color from the charcoal makes it satisfying to see the particles of food removed by the floss, and the charcoal doesn’t leach onto my teeth. It is pricey, but I’m glad not to be flossing with plastic. I happily throw the used floss into my compost pile. Every time I use the floss, I delight in seeing the rainbow color of the case I chose, like opening a drawer and seeing a hummingbird.

Excited about these. Theyre going into my family’s Christmas stockings!! Cool product. Love it!

I have extremely tight contact teeth! So tight only ribbon style floss would work. I have been searching for a biodegradable floss, but all were very thick until I found this zero waste bamboo charcoal floss! Can't believe how efficient it is and is eco friendly at the same time. I am so happy I finally found the ONE! Buying a refill and one more floss as a gift to my eco-conscious family member!

Its a cool reusable floss container, the floss itself is nice and just as good as the floss you used growing up just without the plastic.

This floss is sooo much better than the plastic stuff I was using before. Is strong enough to get into spaces, though it does break more often than Glide does due to the close spacing of some of my teeth.

This bamboo and charcoal dental floss works great. It fits between my tight teeth and doesn’t break.

This is the best floss ever. It's thin and strong, with simple ingredients. I have tight spaces in between my teeth and this floss never breaks, which was the case for me with other types of natural floss tried in past. Great quality, and it's compostable, it can't get better than this!

I have no idea of it's just me, but I let the floss sit on a open shelf for a few days, and now it smells like mildew. I will still use it, as my spouse says it smells like toothpaste, but this is concerning.

I really like the idea of using bamboo string for dental floss but, the string breaks a lot. I can deal with some breakage but, could uou possibly make the string stronger?

Finally! A floss that gets me flossing daily. I actually look forward to flossing. I don’t know if it’s the charcoal or the mint, maybe both, but it’s satisfying and my mouth feels cleaner. The strand of floss isn’t too big or too small. It’s just right. I’ve struggled finding the right floss and that’s over now. Thank you!

The bamboo charcoal floss and bamboo dispenser I first tried at my sister’s house. Then ordered for myself. The floss doesn’t shred easily, has a light minty flavor, and is thin enough that it fits between the teeth easily. The refillable bamboo floss dispenser is stylish and functional, cuts the floss cleanly. Excellent product.

My husband and I both are obsessed with this floss! I’m so glad I found it when looking for an eco friendly option. Waterpiks don’t really seem to get much, so I wanted to find a floss I could feel good about using. This stuff REALLY gets everything between the teeth and at the gum line. We both rave about it to each other and have even started flossing more often because it feels great. Thank you! Highly recommend!

With my tight together teeth this floss breaks too easily for me

For me, doesn't shred and only breaks occasionally. I'm relieved to find a floss, I'll want to resupply with.

This is my first eco-friendly floss purchase and I love it! Glad to have the mint flavor on it - definitely makes me feel cleaner. I also enjoy that it's black so you can see the gunk more easily hahaha.

This little dispenser works great. I had a similar one that was glass and eventually I broke it so having a stainless steel version is great and will probably last forever (if I don't lose it!).
This type of dispenser is not only great for avoiding plastic, it is easily refilled and great for traveling along with a small packet of toothpaste tabs (instead of a traditional tube of toothpaste: another great way to avoid unsustainable packaging!)

I love this floss!! It’s very sturdy and does not hurt my gums. The light mint flavor is nice and the container is really easy to use just like the plastic ones we’re all used to except it’s guilt free and no worries about plastic in the environment or my body!

Like the abrasive texture.
String breaks too easily.

As others have mentioned, the tab on the top of the glass container needs to be bent up ever so slightly. Takes a minte and then it is perfect. The floss works well without being too abrasive. If you have tight spacing in between teeth, this might not be for you, but it works well for me.

This floss is great. Works just as well as the traditional big-box brands and without the plastic.
