Worked great and especially love the non-plastic packaging!!

I always have made my own eco friendly laundry soap in the past but it was always a challenge to find the time. When I found Eco Strips I thought this might be my solution! Wash after wash they have exceeded expectation. I now have my mother a fan of this product as well! She's a fan on many levels beyond the eco friendly. One of which she no longer has to lug heavy jugs!

So, this is going to sound a bit like a rant but I have a few minutes and need to get an HONEST opinion ‘out there’. I’ve been committed to going plastic-free for a while. (The hardest part was giving up Coke Zero in a bottle..but that’s not relevant here :) I researched and tried A LOT of the liquid detergent alternatives from soapberries and Ecoegg to dissolving sheets. I found some websites ranking sheets like on a five point scale or whatnot. I was disappointed to discover that most of the sites and reviews were ‘paid for’. How are consumers supposed to choose items when comments and reviews are PAID FOR?!?! These EcoStrips are my favorite. The soapberries are messy and I found it impossible to gauge the correct amount of product for my load. Other sheets I tried had residue issues or didn’t seem to ‘get the job done’. Now, I use old Whirlpool and GE front-loaders..I feel they do 10X the cleaning that new Samsung and LG washers do (yup. Tried those and actually returned them) so washer proficiency may impact your results but I’m very happy with EcoStrips. If I could improve them at all I would add MORE fragrance(I purchase Fresh Linen scented.) I know this is easy to achieve in the dryer with scented wool balls but I hang dry most of my clothes and like a little oomph in the detergent.

I used the "Tru Earth Eco Strips Laundry Detergent" for the first time today. I bought (1) Fragrance Free (2) Fresh Linen and (3) Lilac Breeze. The "Lilac Breeze" smells strong, but there is very little fragrance left when your wash is done, and I am happy about that. Used two (2) strips for one large load and they both dissolved perfectly in my washing machine tray. Having no suds is a joy as I have a "Miele" front loader and as hard as I tried to add as little liquid laundry detergent as possible, I always had left over suds. Thereby, I would re-wash my clothes in white vinegar until no suds were left defeating the purpose of having a front loader to save water in the first place and adding time to my day for doing laundry and wear and tear on my washer. Using these laundry detergent strips is so easy, convenient, cost saving, and time saving! I plain on ordering more when needed and may give some as stocking stuffers for Christmas this year. Great for Bridal shower gift. I do by what they register for the wedding gift, but for a shower gift, I buy many items that I put in a box such as (1) zip lock bags, (2) Bon Ami, (3) dish towels, (4) sponges, (5) foil, saran wrap, parchment paper, (6) you name it.

These are so easy to use and not messy like pouring out liquid laundry detergent. I love the compact and recyclable packaging!

I am amazed these tiny little sheets do such a great job of cleaning our clothes. No more big plastic jugs for us.
