Eliminate or drastically reduce wasteful paper towels with Unpaper® Towels! They are the perfect zero waste kitchen swap that saves resources, money, and plastic waste. They fit on a standard paper towel tube, are machine washable, and will spice up your kitchen with fun and lively colors!
Think about how much a case of paper towels costs and how often you buy them. Most households spend $100+ per year on disposable towels. Every single one costs money that you will never get back, and then we just toss them in the trash! Now you can put a stop to that and get yourself a set or two of the best zero-waste alternative, UNpaper® Towels.
At $2.50 per reusable towel, each one of these towels will pay for itself in a few days of use, and they will last for several years!
How to use:
Roll them up onto your cardboard paper towel roll (or use a more durable one here) one at a time, slightly overlapping each one. The flannel material will naturally cling together, so you won't need snaps as other brands do.
Once you rolled up all your towels, put the roll on your paper towel holder and use them like you would any paper towel. When they get dirty, place in a basket or other storage container for laundering.
We recommend buying enough UNpaper® Towels to get your household through until laundry day, plus a few extras.
Machine washable in warm water with like colors using your favorite laundry soap.
Use non-chlorine bleach if needed.
DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTNER, as doing so will reduce absorbency.
Dry in the dryer on low.
Can be ironed with low heat if desired, but not required.

I just bought these last month and started using them for cleaning various surfaces and items in the kitchen. Soft, absorbent, drys fast, durable with scrubbing counters, and love the designs. Too soon to tell how long they will last, yet as someone who has a tendency to destroy everything I touch… these have been amazingly without any signs of destruction so far! No fading, threads are still intact, doesn’t stretch out when wringing… so far!
These cloths are not only very pretty (I purchased the blue set) but are extremely useful for emergencies as a way of mopping up spills or pet accidents. They wash easily in the washing machine and are ready to be used again and again. By using these cloths, we are using fewer paper towels and are decreasing our reliance on one-use items such as paper towels. A very fine product!!!
This alternative to paper towels is great. These are far more absorbent and do a much better job of wiping down surfaces than a paper towel ever could. I do still use paper towels (bamboo) occasionally, but far fewer than before. These are also colorful and washable. Very happy with my purchase.
I have reviewed this twice already. It is a good product.
I can’t buy enough of these. This is my third purchase and I’m no wear done, as my goal is to no longer use anything else but these “Unpaper” towels.
Went on a picnic with my partner yesterday and we used these instead of paper and having them on a roll was ideal.
My other nesting partners, are the ones holding me back, as they are still buying paper towels but definitely not as much as before. We are slowly becoming zero waste in my house.
I was nervous about giving up paper towels and wondered if it would be convenient to wash reusable towels. I wish I had made the switch earlier! It’s been great to use these to clean up quick messes, to rinse them out and reuse them if the mess wasn’t too big and to pop them in the wash. I love the cheery lemon print. People have mentioned that they are small, but I think the size it just fine.
I have reduced my use of regular paper towels by 95%. Paper is still better for anything greasy but I use these on the floor, countertops, on the bathroom sink. They become more absorbent each time they’re washed, and I love the fun, surprise prints. I’m now giving them as gifts!!
