Wet the loofah and use it like any dish sponge for plates, pots, and pans. It pairs perfectly with our No Tox Life Dish Block for an all-around zero-waste dishwashing duo.
Let the sponge drain and dry between uses so it stays fresh, since it is a natural plant material. To clean it, boil it for a minute or microwave it for 20 to 30 seconds while damp (never microwave it dry).
Made from natural loofah plant fiber with a cotton loop, all fully biodegradable.
When a sponge wears out, add it to your compost or bury it in the ground, where the loofah breaks down naturally.

The sponge works fine to clean my dishes, no complaints here. However, I purchased this expecting I could compost it. Turns out it is not compostable. My waste management provider (Seattle) said "All sponges and loofahs are garbage, even those labeled compostable. They are not recyclable nor compostable."
This sponge might be plastic-free but it will eventually end up in my garage bin with every other plastic item.
Design: smaller in the hand than I’d prefer (nobody’s fault, just a preference)
Quality: this is where the disappointment lies. It fell apart almost immediately.

These loofah sponges should last at least a month of daily use per sponge. We have not seen this with the sponges we use.
Are all three sponges falling apart? If so, please reply back so I can get more info on what is causing this and help our quality control. I am hoping it is just one defective sponge and I can send you a replacement.

I simply love it. I've used loofah before for dishes but none of them were made specifically for it so it was awkward. This one works really really well with the dish soap block from this store! It kind of puffs up after first use and I love that it's compostable afterwards.
Nice exfoliation on my body. First scrub is the toughest but gets softer each time.
I think this is a good idea and it’s better constructed than the sponges with a layer of loofah. The only problem for me is the stiffness of the pad, it doesn’t conform to the curved surface of the item I am washing. I am hoping that the scrubber will soften slowly with use.

Love this 3pc wash scrubbers! They are so easy to use and just hang to dry. No mess, no smell and they clean very well.
I’m genuinely so excited about these! I hadn’t had a sponge in years and mostly used brushes and cloths, but these are such a hit! They get nice and fluffy once they’re wet, and so far work great.

We love these so far! I've been using them for a week and find that the texture is great for cleaning our pans and I love that they dry fully between each use and are easy to clean. It feels much more sanitary than a sponge. I will note that they are not a sponge replacement since they do not hold water. I use a small bowl of soap and hot water and just dip the scrubber in that. I don't find that I miss a sponge.

I thought these would be oddly prickly, but they aren't, and feel very nice when washing dishes.
The sponges are great, they puff up a bit when wet and are a perfect replacement for kitchen sponge. I like these much better than other degradable sponges, they don’t get splintery and seem like they’ll last a long time!
This scrubby is quite handy and dries fast too. A handy addition to my kitchen sink!
I love this product. Scrubs better than a regular sponge but less abrasive then metal. Easy to clean it and works well on a types of food mess.

Im just happy they’re not made out of plastic! It’s great to use a natural material, in a more natural form. Plus, the natural sponge texture is a great all purpose scrubber (not too tough, but a little heartier than the soft side of a typical kitchen sponge).

First time trying these guys was impressed with how long it lasted without deteriorating. Like other natural (plastic-free) sponges I've tried, it's not quite as effective for scouring, but paired with a coconut fiber scouring brush, they get most jobs done just fine with the bar dish soap I also tried. The little loop is handy to hang dry.
Great for dishes and general clean-up. Fits really comfortably in my hand, and the hanging tab is great for drying them.
My daughter gifted me a sponge loofa, the pot scrubber, and the glass scrubber. I used them all quite often and my sponge was quite sad looking 🤣 This is my first purchase of my own, and I am so happy with them!!!!
