A solid Moso bamboo dish that keeps your soap dry between uses — the single biggest factor in how long a bar lasts. Fits a regular Dish Block®, the Huge Dish Block®, or most standard body soap bars. - Avoid submerging in water for long periods — bamboo is moisture-resistant, not waterproof.
Moso bamboo — a giant timber bamboo native to China, one of the fastest-growing renewable woods (a Moso stalk can grow several feet per day during peak season, reaching full height in 60–90 days). - Bamboo dish: when the bamboo eventually cracks or wears out (years from now if oiled occasionally), compost it. Raw, untreated bamboo breaks down naturally in a home compost bin.
