Use the regular head for daily dish duty and the heavy-duty head for baked-on messes and cast iron. Rinse after use, shake out the excess water, and hang it to dry. Want to start with just the handle? Pick the handle-only option and add the heads you need.
Our screw-on replacement heads fit both this bamboo handle and the older aluminum "Lifetime" modular handles. They share the same screw thread, so you can keep any compatible handle in service with a fresh head.

Our modular brushes are made from natural materials like bamboo and plant fiber, which means they will return to the earth one day. That is the whole point of zero waste, and we think it is pretty cool.
After a few months in a cozy, humid kitchen, bamboo can sometimes grow a little mold, usually right where the head meets the handle. Do not worry. Mold is just the start of that return-to-earth process. Unlike plastic, these brushes are not built to last forever, and a bit of mold is a sign the head is nearing the end of its useful life. Keep the handle going with a fresh screw-on head, and send the spent one to the compost.
- Store the brush somewhere dry with good air circulation.
- Separate the head and handle so both can dry after use.
- See some mold? Wipe it with vinegar or mild soap and leave it to dry in the sun or near airflow.

I really liked the bamboo dish brush until the handle came unstuck from the brush head. Now it's a pain in the neck and I feel like I wasted my money. I had such high hopes!
I actually came to this site looking for a plastic free "soap-dispensing" brush system, and I am hooked! Love this brush! It is angled correctly to scrub, and the heavy duty bristles have done their job. A couple bristles fell out in my initial use but none in the couple weeks since. Seems easy and economical to replace the brush head too.
I definitely second their recommendation to HANG TO DRY. I would be worried about mold just leaving it lying around. Not worried with hanging it.
I have had this dish brush for about a month and the handle has come off. I keep pushing the handle back into the head, but it doesn't stay for long. I will be getting super glue to hopefully extend its life, but I don't see this lasting long enough to use the replacement heads I ordered.
Best eco brush. The screw in actually works (unlike the Zefiro or Mother's Nature metal ones). Brush heads last forever too, had my previous ones for two years (probably a little long, but they still worked well). They also scrape off stuff and scrub a lot better than plastic brushes or sponges, and feel a lot more sanitary. Easy to clean glasses too.
It’s very cute, nice bristles. But the handle is glued on and popped off within a week. I do also wish the round head wasn’t so bulky as it makes it hard to get into the bottom corners of pots and the sink.

Quality control is our main focus. Looks like the adhesive was not applied correctly.
A bit of glue should fix that if you have some.
Either way, I have refunded you the cost of the brush. If you need a smaller brush, the palm pot is better at getting into tight places.

This brush is awesome! The bristles are very tough, so it replaces the plastic one I was using (it's even better), and the angle on it is great for getting into lids, edges, and corners. I am so happy to use this and know I can put the head in the compost whenever it's done serving me!

Cleans very well. Bristles are sturdy.
This holds soap well so I'm not reapplying as often as with a plastic scrub but it rinses out fine. I'm very happy with it

I really love this dish brush. Its compact design makes it easy to use and store.
Overall like the brush and would buy it again however the handle has already broken loose from the brush head. Easy fix with some wood glue however product would benefit from a little different woodworking to make fitting less susceptible to coming out.
Love this overall, but find it's not as useful as the plastic brush that has the brushes on the end of the handle. But it's useful for a range of things, so I'm into it.

My scrubber hangs right over my kitchen sink and I use is a couple times a day. Love how it works and that it's a sustainable product. I can't even imagine using the plastic ones anymore!

I’ve purchased eco-friendly brushes in the past and typically use a luffa sponge so this was a nice upgrade to my sink routine. My issue with other dish brushes is at some point they fall apart or the bamboo molds and you’d have to toss the entire brush. With interchangeable brush heads such as this brush, this eliminates the frustration and environmental impact - which I love. I love this plastic free scrub brush, it was just what I was looking for and works great.
I like the dish brush but after just a few weeks of use, the handle came detached from the head. I've texted zero waste outlet with no response yet.

As we shift our household cleaning items to more eco friendly, the sink sponge was destined to go. We have been loving not having a germ filled plastic laden sponge on our sink anymore. This brush does the trick and frankly just looks nicer! I love that the brush heads are replaceable and not plastic. Great product.
Unfortunatly the handle came off during the first use so now it is a round top brush I use in the bathroom
